Named for the historic Preservation Hall in New Orleans, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band tours the world playing the sounds of New Orleans style jazz. Not to be confused with Dixieland jazz, New Orleans style jazz is a slower tempo, a clearer melody, and has improvisation at its heart. This seven member touring band represents the elite of New Orleans jazz.  When not touring, they can be seen performing nightly at Preservation Hall.
