A WORLD PREMIERE based on the novel by Governor General Award Winner Miriam Toews (author of best seller A Complicated Kindness).

Lucy lives in a Winnipeg Housing Project, and she hardly speaks to her father. Her mom is dead. She didn’t grieve right, and she became promiscuous. She doesn’t know who the father of her child is.

In a beat-up van full of kids and toys, Lucy and her best friend Lish go on a road trip. It is a hilarious and heartbreaking journey that takes Lucy into her memories and her future. She discovers hurt and happiness, the joy of having a son, and most of all, her amazing luck.
