The Edmonton Jazz Society celebrates the cool art of jazz as it introduces the Yardbird Jazz Festival to Edmonton's festival scene. Among the festival’s 150 performers are jazz greats P.J. Perry, Tommy Banks, Dave Holland, and Sheila Jordan.  Festival programming includes feature concert series, free creative development workshops, live jazz in various Edmonton restaurants and pubs, and 20 free outdoor concerts.
