Do you believe in ghosts?

Charles Condomine, a novelist, does not. When he and his second wife, Ruth, invite renowned psychic Mme. Arcati to perform a séance for their friends, it is simply to gather material for a new book.  Eager to prove that she indeed has the power to summon the hereafter, Mme. Arcati inadvertently invites Charles’ first wife into the home. Things get complicated for Charles in this uproarious comedy about the eternal love triangle.
