Arden Theatre presents
KELLY JOE PHELPS
September 21, 7:30pm

Kelly Joe Phelps has a style all his own – a raw, acoustic sound steeped in jazz, folk and blues influences. Phelps' poetic lyrics combined with his rough, yet melodic voice adds a serene depth to his music. He has been compared to songwriting legends, such as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, and has been named the Bert Jansch of the blues for his grace and dexterity on the slide guitar.

LOUDON WAINWRIGHT 111
September 22, 7:30PM

Folk-influenced, country-tinged and jazzy, Loudon Wainwright III is known for his poignant, yet humorous lyrics wrapped in catchy mixes of melody and rhyme. Father of singer-songwriters Rufus and Martha Wainwright, this sharp-witted performer recently released his 20 th album, Here Come the Choppers .
