The Head Writer of the hit HBO series 6 Feet Under received a 1999 Pulitzer Prize nomination for this play set at a 20th class reunion.  Two former high school sweethearts must face each other and the consequences of a life-shattering decision made 20 years earlier. The play includes - among other things - the story of the birth of the universe and a Narrator who plays the 19 other characters who, along with Peter and Kari, populate the evening.  The Pavilion explores how our very human concerns and relationships are not lost or insignificant even in our seemingly vast and empty universe.
